PLEASE! Let it be a girl!

So as you know, we're expecting in November and our kids, especially Kenley, are convinced that it is a girl.  Really there is no reasoning with her, believe me, I've tried!  We talk about it all the time and I try to talk to them about how if its a boy, that would be OK too.  Not working, she literally starts crying or screaming when we talk about the fact that she may have another brother.  If anyone knows Kenley, they know how strong willed she can be ( that is putting it as nicely as I can!). She is either all the way happy or all the way mad, no inbetween for her!  She does have some good arguments for her side and honestly I don't know what to say when she pulls this card.  "Mom, I talked to Jesus and he said that we could have a baby sister!"  What am I supposed to say to that? So please, for the sanity of our house, let it be a girl!!!  (Just to be clear, we would take whatever we get! My boys are tons of fun and they would love a new brother too...eventually!)

That is so cute and so Kenley. I'm sure that Heavenly Father knows what he is doing, just like when he gave you two at a time. All will be well!!But I can still think pink. But, who could turn down another "baby Marcus".

That is too cute! Avery was convinced Hayden was a boy and she wanted to name him "Cowboy" eventually when she realized it was a girl she was ok with it and named her "Cowgirl". Kenley and Avery sound a lot alike. Good luck with that one. Hows the pregnancy going?

Amber-
I had no idea that you had a blog! I am so glad because now we can keep in touch a little better. I also had no idea that you were expecting another baby! Congrats! I love Kenley's comment about Jesus. Your right, you can't argue with her when she pulls the whole Jesus thing on you. She's going to be a lawyer some day!

Hey Amber, this is Mel (Jones) Bassett, you know we are related, and that is how I found out about your blog. Anyways, you will only be 45 mins, to an hour away from us. My Grandma told me you were going to come here for residency. I wish we were at that point. :( But soon enough. I will have to get your phone number and we can meet up some time. Glad to see you joined the bloggin' world. Careful though it can be addicting.
